Just when you thought you missed out last year on this gem, here is your chance! In the 2021 Auction Barn Fundraiser, this knife brought $5,150 for Tennessee 4-H and FFA, but we know we can do better! Let's face it, the knife has aged another year. You could own the very first edition of the Co-op 4-H/ FFA knife collection. 2001 was the start of a partnership between TFC and Case Knife to create a series of very rare, one-of-a-kind knives to benefit Tennessee 4-H and FFA. These knives are exclusively sold in local Co-ops with a limited quantity. Specifically, this knife features beautiful Amber Jigged Bone handles, tru-sharp surgical steel blades etched support 4-H and FFA 2001, nickel silver bolsters and shield, with brass pins and liners. It measures 4 1/8" closed and is in unused condition in the original Case XX factory tin box. Take advantage of this one-of-a-kind deal!
Just surpassing its 10 year anniversary, this is an opportunity to obtain the 2011 edition in an extremely rare commemorative series by Case XX. This knife has been long sold out and to say one is hard to find is an understatement. It would make a great addition to your collection or an unforgettable gift for a 4-H or FFA student or alumni.
In 2015, Tennessee Farm Bureau and Farm Credit Mid-America began discussions about beginning a partnership to help feed hungry Tennesseans through regional food banks. Several ideas were considered to create an event that would allow Tennessee agriculture and Tennessee businesses to join together to fight hunger in our communities. The idea of a sporting clays shoot came up during a conversation among some Farm Bureau staff members. They decided to pitch the idea to Farm Credit staff and after a brief discussion, Shooting Hunger was born. The first event in October 2015 raised enough funds to provide over 88,000 meals to hungry Tennesseans. In 2016, Tennessee Farmers Coop came on board as a presenting sponsor, a welcome addition to the team. The support for Shooting Hunger has been nothing short of amazing, with shooters coming from as far as Nebraska and sponsors too numerous to mention. In addition, the entire Tennessee agriculture industry has jumped on board in the fight against hunger in Tennessee. Shooting Hunger events have raised enough funds to provide more than 2 million meals to hungry Tennesseans… and we've just started Shooting Hunger in Tennessee. This hatch print in a commemorative piece for the 2016 partnership.
